PR, Marketing & Sales Executive

Volunteer Position – Full Time

I am looking for a PR, Marketing & Sales Executive from each corner of the world. You will be working voluntarily for a new online auction dating site which aims to raise as much money as possible for charity!

Responsibilities:
 Develop and sustain the mutual understanding between an organisation and its public
 use all forms of media and communications to project and protect the appropriate image
 Write promotional material and press releases.
 Produce brochures, leaflets and videos when necessary.
 Organise press briefings and news conferences.
 Attend or set up exhibitions and conferences.
 Project-manage product/event launches.
 Carry out research and evaluations of published materials, interviews and surveys.
 Promote a company’s image by arranging charitable donations or sponsorship of events.
 Research and analysis followed by continuous evaluation of an organisation or campaign strategy by: conducting focus groups; co-ordinating surveys; researching recent reports and articles; or commissioning market research.
 Initiating and planning PR campaigns: defining goals; analysing problems and opportunities; liaising with management and clients (internal and external);
 Writing and editing press releases, in-house newsletters, speeches, articles and annual reports.
 Maintaining and updating information on RDC’s website when necessary.
 Using corporate advertising to maintain an organisation's identity, name and reputation.
 Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes.
 Answering enquiries from individuals, journalists and other organisations.
 Speaking in public at presentations, press conferences, radio and TV interviews, and meetings.
 Developing and maintaining good working relations with the media, including local and national newspapers, magazines, radio and television.
 Organising special events, such as press conferences, exhibitions, open days, tours, competitions and sponsorship.
 Fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives.
 Respond to requests for information from the media or designate another appropriate spokesperson or information source.
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, consumer, employee, and public interest groups.

The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills.
Other requirements include a 'can do' spirit, good teamwork skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines, problem solving under pressure, good time-management and organisation skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.

Educational Requirements:
The candidate should be educated to at least A Level or equivalent, with a good standard of English, both written and spoken, and basic mathematics including percentages.

I am looking for an Advertising Sales Executive. You will be working voluntarily for a new online auction dating site which aims to raise as much money as possible for charity!

Role: Advertising Sales Executive

I am looking for a dynamic and motivated Advertising Sales Executive to be responsible for all advertising and sponsorship, both online and off.

Responsibilities:

• Sell the company's advertising and sponsorship to new and existing customers.
• To exceed monthly and annual sales revenue targets.
• Manage the sales territory and customer accounts through telephone calls and some possible field visits.
• To develop close links with clients that will enable the client to find new ways to develop revenue such as feature supplements, sponsorships and online advertising.
• Produce monthly reports highlighting sales activities and market trends.
• Monitor competitors' activities in the market place.
• Record all sales activities with customers.
• Promote our service and advertise opportunities.
• Source venues and free gifts for both online and offline events and PR.
• Source FREE advertising space for our company.

Special Skills/Experience/Competencies:
• Two years' advertising sales experience.
• Good use of English, especially creative sales letter writing.
• Ability to give effective, confident sales presentations to customers.

yup - started off at VNU selling b2b print media space - moved into sales management and then online media sales, and sales management - at a local and multi national level - managed media sales for altavista (launched it) in seventeen countries and VP Sales for 24/7 in 11 countries for example.

Now provide support and insight to companies trying to do this themselves.
